Attention Artists!

Painting Class on Tuesdays or Wednesdays at 9:00 a.m.-noon; Instructor is Diane Brahm. Find your artistic talent, share your knowledge of painting, or just enjoy the creative camaraderie that artist share. The teacher is award-winning artist Diane Brahm. All levels are welcome. All classes are $20 per class, to be paid monthly, on the first class of each month.

Every Wednesday from 1:00-4:00 p.m., a "Gathering of Artists" will meet for a shared time of painting and creativity. Bring your pals, your paints and pencils, and join this open forum. Encore Choir

Encore Choir meets on Tuesdays from 11:05 a.m.-noon in the Choir Rehearsal Room. This choir sings periodically for our chapel service as well as for various local groups. The only requirement to join Encore Choir is a love of singing. Contact the music department at 713-267-5031 for more information.

The Gathering

The Gathering is a day of care providing a few hours of fellowship for those who have had strokes, have dementia or Alzheimer's, and the frail elderly who are isolated from normal activities. It also gives a time of respite for their caregivers. From 10:00 a.m. -1:30 p.m. in Massey-Tucker Hall. Common Ground: Caregiver Conversations

Common Ground: Caregiver Conversations is a free supportive community for caregivers in cooperation with Interfaith CarePartners. This group meets the second and fourth Thursday of the month from 10:30 a.m.-noon in the Molly Ann Smith Building. It is a supportive community for caregivers of persons with dementia and/or other caregivers for persons with other diagnosis or conditions. Manna from Grace

Manna from Grace is a fellowship of volunteers who have a willingness to give part of a Saturday from time to time to preparing food and delivering a meal to a neighborhood household. Manna from Grace will now be preparing meals on the fourth Monday of each month from 9:30 a.m.-noon in the kitchen at Grace. Bridge

Social Bridge players meet the second and fourth Thursday of each month, from 11:30 a.m.-3:00 p.m. in MTH 207. Lunch is available with required reservation. Project C.U.R.E.

Join Grace Presbyterian Church volunteers at Project C.U.R.E. every Tuesday afternoon from 1:00-3:00 p.m. We will sort donated medical supplies and prepare them to be shipped around the world. Come whenever you can! Training is provided.
