ARC - Enrichment Classes

General Information: Classes are offered each semester of the school year. Sign-up information and dates are listed in the church newsletter, bulletin and in this space as classes are offered. Contact the ARC office for a brochure of all enrichment classes.
Annual Gingerbread House Class:  Gather your family young and old and join us for the Annual Gingerbread House Class on a Saturday in early December 9:30 am - 12:30 pm in Massey Tucker Hall. This festive event has become a yearly tradition for families. Our own Tami Snell will guide you through this fun three hours of creativity, fellowship and design of your own masterpiece. Registration fee includes, house, display board and all the candy that you could ever want to decorate with! A parent and child may work on one house together.
Acting - Mondays:  Preschool (3 to 5 year olds) and school-age children have an opportunity here to develop confidence in verbal and physical communication skills, as well as develop a love for the theatrical arts. There is a class fee per semester.
Art After School Tuesdays: Boys and girls 2nd grade and up. Paint, watercolor, drawing, and clay will be a part of this amazing class full of learning and creativity!
Gymnastics - Tuesdays: Gymnastic instruction for boys and girls, ages three to nine years, is offered at a variety of times. Special classes are available for Moms & Tots as well. Children are taught through the use of a multitude of gymnastics equipment. There is a class fee per semester.
Robotics Tuesdays: Boys and girls 1st grade and up. 2 hours of action packed adventure. Design and build a wide variety of amazing things with LEGO materials. Competition and teamwork will be a big part of this class.
Dance - Wednesdays: Ballet and Tap are offered for boys and girls, ages three to ten years. Basic skills are taught, and each semester will close with a recital. There is class fee per semester.
Computer Wednesdays: Boys and girls 3rd grade and up. Students will be introduced to basic elements of Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign programs in CS3. Learn image editing, and illustration to express creative digital media.
Taekwondo Thursdays:  This class is offered for boys and girls, grades PreK through fifth grade. Taekwondo develops coordination and discipline. Several class times are offered. There is class fee per semester.
High Tech Science Thursdays: Boys and girls 1st grade and up. Classes provide hands on and participatory science experiences that are designed to stimulate the imagination and curiosity of children.
Woodworking - Fridays: Boys and girls, ages three to eight, will learn to work with basic tools and build a variety of projects. Several class times and ability levels are offered. There is a class fee per semester.
Cooking Fridays: Boys and girls ages 3 yrs 5th grade. This hands on class will teach basic cooking skills through age appropriate activities that will allow each child to explore and experience the joy of cooking. Food prepared will be eaten in class/samples taken home.
