All Sports Summer Camp ** New **

  • No previous experience required! This camp was developed to give children a positive first step into athletics! The essentials of sports are introduced in a safe, structured environment with a BIG focus on FUN! This is a great opportunity to set the tone for a lifetime of athletic enjoyment!
Tae Kwon Do
  • July 26 - –August 6 (2 weeks)
  • Boys and girls entering kindergarten through entering fifth grade

  • Time (Pre-K and kindergarten): 11:30 a.m.– - 12:30 p.m.

With each exciting class, campers will focus on stretching, learning the different blocks, kicks, and learning how the body works to generate control, power and speed.

High Touch High Tech Science Camp

SPACE RACE: Experience a real launch, from rocket assembly to BLAST OFF! in this week long science adventure. Journey through the stars and make glowing space mud. Join us on a Mission to Mars and make Martian Goozey and Dinner on Mars!

ZOOLOGY: Discover the amazing world of insects, dinosaurs, plants and animals. Make your own fossil, chia pet, greenhouses, and mini oceans. We will uncover why the earth is our living planet, examine real creatures, and more!

Dance Camp
  • July 12 - 16
  • Boys and girls three– through twelve-years-old
  • Place: MTH
  • Time: 11:30 am – 12:30 pm: Ages 6–12: Pom Dance
  • Time: 12:30 pm – 1:30 pm: Ages 3–5: Ballet/Tap
  • Instructor: Cindy Williams
  • Dress/gear: Black leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes, black tap shoes for ballet/tap; t-shirt, shorts, tennis shoes for pom dance.
  • Cost: $80

Students will be instructed in ballet, tap, correct stretching techniques, and proper dance etiquette. Pom dance campers will learn routines set to jazz music.

Creative Cooking for Preschool & Kindergarten

Junior Chefs will get to mix, measure, pour and create their own snacks and desserts, based on a delicious, exciting theme! Food prepared each day will be eaten in class, and yummy samples will be taken home to share.

Now You're Cookin Elementary

Get ready! Get set! Cook! Roll up your sleeves and get ready for the most delicious week of the summer. Campers will prepare and enjoy a variety of foods based on a delicious, exciting theme! Food prepared each day will be eaten in class, and yummy samples will be taken home to share.

Woodworking

In this exciting, hands-on camp, children will successfully build small projects using hammers, saws, paints, etc. All materials will be provided. Please wear clothes that can get messy, and close-toed shoes.

Thinkers and Tinkerers Inventors Workshop ** New **

  • Instructor: Erica Deakins
  • Get ready to tinker and test your own one-of-a kind creation! Your imagination is your only limitation during this workshop!
  • Students will explore and create without step by step instructions and inhibitions. Each day student’s will be provided with a design/invention challenge. The rest is up to them! Tinkering is a great way to learn about the structure of things, the forces and energy that make things work, and how things are controlled. Sample invention activities include ping pong catapults, balloon cars, and magnetic mazes.

  • BARK!: Who let the dogs out? Glaze a ceramic dog dish, paint a beautiful dog portrait, and much more doggie stuff!
  • ALICE: Join Mrs. VanPelt in the rabbit hole! Glaze a ceramic tea pot and cup, paint a portrait as Alice or Mad Hatter!
  • CLOUDY: A two foot ice cream sundae! Giant bowl of spaghetti! We will make BIG FOOD out of paper mache and glaze a ceramic plate to remember our week by!
  • GIRLICIOUS: Glaze a ceramic jewelry box, create flower barrettes, design and decorate fabulous flip flops, and make a girly sign to hang in your room!

  • AMERICAN DOLL: Bring your American Girl Doll (or other 18 in. doll) and we will play “Art Studio” with your doll being the still life. Use your imagination and learn how to paint and draw your doll. At the end of camp, we will make a still life collage of our work and share with American Girl.
  • WILD RIDES: Your creative mind will turn an ordinary car into a work of ART. Students will use their imagination to turn a toy car into an ART CAR. At the end of camp, we will celebrate with our own version of the Art Car parade!

Hip, Hip, Hooray! Cheer Camp

Cheerleading is here! Learn from local former college cheerleaders. Exciting chants, cheers and routines will spark up your week as you learn to show your spirit.

Music, Movement, and More

Musical theater for young actors to improve gross motor coordination and develop speech and language skills. Classes will include: music and movement, dialogue, snack, playtime, and art-set construction. Camp will conclude with a musical production that includes dialogue and dance.

Rhythm and Rhyme with Mother Goose **New**

  • Hop and Bop with Mother Goose in this class especially designed to foster the development of reading skills in emergent and pre-emergent readers using creative dramatics and music. Each class will include: Creative dramatics, music, reading activity, gross motor activities, art or craft activity.
Soccer Camp

  • Dress/gear: shorts, shin guards, rubber spiked cleats, soccer ball—please put your child’s name on all equipment

An experienced and enthusiastic coaching staff will help develop players in their individual positions from goalkeepers to forwards. Emphasis will be on teamwork and character development.

Baseball Camp
  • June 28 –- July 1 (Mon - Thurs)
  • Boys and girls five years old and up
  • Place: Grace Athletic Fields
  • Time: 9:00 a.m.– - noon

  • Dress/Gear: baseball pants, cap, glove, bat, rubber spiked cleats—please put your child’s name on all equipment
  • Cost: $170 (includes daily snacks and a pizza party on last day)

This camp offers boys and girls the opportunity to develop and enhance their fundamental baseball skills. An excellent staff of coaches will give individual instruction, direct campers through drills, and evaluate them with radar guns, stop watches, and the use of video tape. The week will end with our very own Baseball Camp World Series!

Basketball Camp
  • July 12 - 16
  • Boys and girls five years old and up

  • Time: 9:00 a.m.– noon
  • Instructor: Fellowship of Christian Athletes
  • Cost: $170 (includes daily snacks and a pizza party on last day)

A dedicated staff of fca coaches will instruct campers on the fundamentals of basketball including shooting, ball handling, and defense. Daily devotionals, group discussions, and fellowship are the highlights of this camp.

Chess Camp
  • June 14 - 25 (2 weeks)
  • Boys and girls 6 years old and up

  • Time: 12:30 - –1:30 p.m.

Campers will learn fundamentals, rules and strategy. Games will be played each day. Equipment will be provided. Chess is a skill with lifelong advantages!

Robotics

  • Instructor: American Robotics Academy
  • Using Legos, children will learn to build exciting machines, and compete with one another. Students will use strategy, fine motor skills, teamwork and technology to create and compete. All materials will be available for student use during the camp.
  • Robots on the Rampage: Let’s build some robots that are on the“edge of technology”…build some of the strangest robotic contraptions ever designed!
  • Leonardo DaVinci: Students will be introduced to DaVinci’s inventive machines and the principles of mechanical engineering through Legos. Challenge your creative, mechanical and design abilities!
