A unique opportunity to explore the connections between the Bible and the classic doctrines (core beliefs) of Christianity. This 30-week, DVD and discussion based study will explore…Revelation. Scripture. God. Providence. Covenant. Sin. Grace. Salvation. Jesus Christ. Atonement. Faith. Holy Spirit. Trinity. Church. Sacraments. Worship. Sanctification. Judgment. Christian life. Hope. Resurrection. Eternal Life. Dive into the language of faith that shapes our lives.

Participants will study Scripture and the creeds and confessions of the church, as well as read from the work of theologians across the ages such as Augustine, Calvin, Luther, Wesley, and Barth. The class asks for a commitment to daily readings and regular group participation.

Remember Who You Are: The Prophets and the Letters of Paul (Disciple III)

The prophets of the Old Testament and the apostle Paul of the New Testament letters are continually calling us back to a life with God. This 34-week, DVD and discussion based Bible study will explore who we are as a community of God’s people. What does it mean to see as God sees? How do we turn our life toward the life God desires for us? How do we love God and neighbor?

Participants will read the major and minor Old Testament prophets with the exception of Daniel, and the 13 New Testament letters of Paul.

  • Class meets Wednesday evenings from 6:00-7:30pm, MTH 101
  • September 16 - May 26, with holiday breaks (34 weeks)
