Beginning Sunday, February 14th we will be collecting new and gently worn shoes as a part of the relief effort in Haiti. Bring your shoes to Grace and be a part of serving an ongoing need for the people of Haiti.

How can you help?

  • donate new or gently used shoes (tie laces together or rubber band each pair) - all sizes, styles, even singles are being collected (shoes not appropriate for Haiti will be given to shelters, victims of abuse, fire or other crisis)
  • leave shoes in collection boxes at Grace Presbyterian Church, OR
  • bring your donations to a Saturday SHOE WORK DAY at 10248 Westheimer Houston, Texas 77042 (the SHOE WORK DAY will be held in the vacant Golf Warehouse next to Project Cure - near the intersection of Westheimer/Sam Houston Tollway)

The shoes will be shipped to the Soles4Souls Alabama warehouse. Soles4Souls will sort/repack and ship the shoes to Haiti in their containers.

We would be grateful for your continuing prayers for this shoe collection journey. May the small efforts of Houston neighbors bring some hope and healing to the people in Haiti.
